Reason for restriction: Access required for Pole Testing by Openreach. There is a need to close the highway in the following terms: -

1. The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with U40214 Holly Bush Walk to its junction with U40215 Bennetts Lane.

2. This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 5 days, however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 1 day commencing 17 January 2024.

3. Alternative routes: - U40214 Holly Bush Walk, U40215 Bennetts Lane, C2142 Boreley Lane and vice versa.

Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.

A449 Worcester Road (southbound): At its junction with U40200 (Chatley Turn) – No Entry for northbound traffic.

A449 Worcester Road (southbound): At its junction with C2086 (Hadley Turn) – No Entry for northbound traffic.

The Order will come into operation on 9 November 2023.

4. This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 5 days, however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 3 nights (20:00-04:00) commencing 15 October 2023.

PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER 2023 
The above Order, made on 8th June 2023, under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, and Section 
53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, will divert the public footpath, and modify the 
definitive map and statement for Worcestershire accordingly, 
Footpath OM-505 running from Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) SO 8212 6722 (point A 
on the Order map), proceeding in a SE direction, for 274 metres (m) to OSGR SO 8226 6699 (Point 
B on the order map) at its junction with footpath OM-506 & OM-507, to a line running from OSGR SO 
8212 6722 (point A on the Order map). The path proceeds in a S direction along the field edge for 
106m with a width of 2m to OSGR SO 8213 6712 (point D on the order map) before crossing a 
hedgerow via a gap and turning to proceed across a field in a SE direction for 211m to OSGR SO 
8231 6700 (point E on the order map) at its junction with footpaths OM-506 and OM-507 as shown 
on the order plan. 
Footpath OM-506 running from OSGR SO 8226 6699 (Point B on the order map) at its junction with 
footpaths OM-505 & OM-507. The path then proceeds in a S direction for 207m to OSGR SO 8228 
6679 (point C on the Order map) at its junction with Wyneyards Lane, to a line running from OSGR 
SO 8231 6700 (Point E on the order map). The path proceeds in a S direction along a grass path for 
204m where it exits through a gap in the fence to its junction with Wyneyard Lane at OSGR SO 8229 
6679 (Point F on the order map).
