Order made: to close Footpaths OM-542, OM-550 and OM-552, Ombersley for their entire length.

The Order has been made due to the construction of a solar farm, battery station and associated infrastructure.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: OM-543, access road C2145, Doverdale Lane C2074, Footway along A449 heading north, OM-551, OM-549 and vice versa.

The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 fillin "7.  6/18 months" \d ""months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 1 April 2024.

Proposed Order: to close Footpath OM-544, Ombersley for its entire length.

The Order has been made to excavate the footpath and lay gas mains to supply to a new property.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: From the junction of Ombersley footpaths OM-539, OM-540 and OM-544 – use OM-540, then OM-546, OM-547, Elmley Lovett footpaths EL-546, EL-547, EL-543, EL-544 and Hartlebury footpath HR-559 and vice versa.

The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 fillin "7.  6/18 months" \d ""months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 25 March 2024.

Reason: New replacement electricity cable by National Grid Electricity Distribution

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

 NOTICE OF THE CLOSURE OF C2142 BORELEY LANE, OMBERSLEY, WORCESTERSHIRE ("THE HIGHWAY")

Reason for restriction: Drainage/flood alleviation work.  There is a likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road.  There is a need to close the highway in the following terms:-

3. The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with U40218 Parsonage Lane to its junction with A4133 Holt Fleet Road.
4. This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 21 days; however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 3 days commencing 8 January 2024.
5. Alternative routes: U40218 Parsonage Lane, A4133 Holt Fleet Road, and vice versa

Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A449 Main Road, C2152 Woodfield Lane, C2152 Lineholt Lane, U40221 Uphampton Lane and vice versa.

1. The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with U40214 Holly Bush Walk to its junction with U40215 Bennetts Lane.

2. This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 5 days, however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 1 day commencing 17 January 2024.

3. Alternative routes: - U40214 Holly Bush Walk, U40215 Bennetts Lane, C2142 Boreley Lane and vice versa.

Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.

On 19 October 2023 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will prohibit any vehicle from entering the following roads in Ombersley:

A449 Worcester Road (southbound): At its junction with U40200 (Chatley Turn) – No Entry for northbound traffic.

A449 Worcester Road (southbound): At its junction with C2086 (Hadley Turn) – No Entry for northbound traffic.

The Order will come into operation on 9 November 2023.

3. The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with A449 Sytchampton to Mitre Oak to its junction with U40204 Halfway Lane.
4. This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 5 days, however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 3 nights (20:00-04:00) commencing 15 October 2023.
5. Alternative routes: - C2074 Doverdale Lane, C2145 Mount Pleasant to Doverdale,
   C2145 Sneads Green, C2145 Crown Lane to Mount Pleasant, C2144 Crown Lane,
