Neighbourhood Development Plan

This information was previously available under the Toad Works website which has now been closed down

A Neighbourhood plan is a community’s right to shape development in their area. For example, what new housing, what business and employment opportunities, and what leisure facilities we have. It can also protect our valued buildings and open spaces.

  • It brings together residents, businesses, local groups, landowners and developers to share ideas and to reach a consensus about how the Ombersley and Doverdale area will look and function.
  • It allows us to set priorities for planning, and once adopted, the plan must be considered in planning applications.
  • We may receive money from developments to spend on things you would like to see happen.

The Ombersley and Doverdale NDP was created under the auspices of the Parish Council between November 2017 and October 2021, when a public ballot was held and the Plan formally adopted by Wychavon District Council. You can click on the links below to see the final NDP documents.
